Without a past, there can be no future. IEM FörderTechnik GmbH has both. With more than fifty years of innovation-driven history, we have considerable experience. Over the decades, we have implemented a large number of machines and systems for a wide variety of industries. 100 % IEM PneumaticHandling
IEM PneumaticHandling GmbH, previously a joint venture in which IEM FörderTechnik held a majority stake, has been a wholly owned subsidiary of IEM FörderTechnik GmbH since November 13, 2024.

Neuer Standort Hütten
IEM expands its production at the new site in 92655 Hütten near Grafenwoehr by 2,500 m² of production space.

50 Years of IEM
In 2019, IEM FörderTechnik GmbH celebrated its 50th anniversary.

New Management
The Schneider family sells the company to CGR Management. In 2016, Alexander Remes joined the company as managing partner and led it into a successful future.

Merger
IEM FörderTechnik GmbH is reorganized into a new structure as all the companies are integrated into the headquarters in Kastl.

Lucotechnik
The company opens an office in Büdingen, takes over the LUCO production range based in Ortenberg and also acquires Lucotechnik.

Opening
In a grand opening ceremony the new administration building and the 4th production hall are inaugurated together with the Bavarian Minister for Economic Affairs August Lang.

New Company Building
Our company has grown to 120 employees which requires the installation of Hall IV as well as the construction of a new administration building.

3rd Hall
Continuous growth and 80 employees necessitate a further extension of the plant to 5,000 m².

2nd Hall
This year, the company was bursting at the seams with its 50 employees, so the hall was enlarged to 3,500 m².
1974
Moving
With 16 employees, after acquiring a suitable company premises of 20,000 m² in Kastl (near Kemnath), the completion of the 1,350 m² workshop celebrated in Kastl.
1969
Foundation
Graduate Engineer Reinhold Schneider in Weiden becomes the founder of IEM. With four employees, the premises are established in nearby Pressath.

This certificate certifies that the quality management system of IEM FörderTechnik GmbH fulfills the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015.
AD 2000 Code HP 0 / HP 100 R
This certificate certifies that IEM FörderTechnik GmbH at the Hütten location has demonstrated the welding qualifications required for the manufacture of pressure equipment in accordance with the aforementioned regulations. Regardless of this certification, the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU are adhered to during the manufacture of pressure equipment.
Confirmation of suitability for quality assurance according to regulation KTA 1401
RWE Nuclear GmbH confirms to the German nuclear power plant operators united in the VGB working group “Contractor Evaluation” the suitability for system- and product-related quality assurance for the scope of supply and services planning, design and manufacture of industrial conveyor systems as well as their mechanical and electronic assembly and commissioning.
