27 August 2018: What took several weeks to build here only takes a few seconds: In the second time-lapse video, the plant is already taking recognisable shape.
5 October 2018: The storage tanks are complete; now a roof will be added. This is what the plant at the Schkopau power station looks like shortly before its topping-out ceremony.
26 October 2018: There is only one direction for plant construction in Schkopau: upwards. In the fourth part of the time-lapse, among other things, a lift shaft is being built.
21 November 2018: Almost finished: In the fifth time-lapse video, pipe bridges are built to the facility. The activated carbon dust will later flow run the pipes over these bridges.
10 December 2018: The winter days are getting shorter, leaving less time for plant construction. Nevertheless, the work is progressing quickly, as can be seen in the sixth time-lapse video.
12 December 2018: The plant at the Schkopau power station is, of course, mainly built during the day. At night, however, it has a special charm: a light show.
10 January 2019: The time has finally come! The plant at the Schkopau power station has gone live at the beginning of 2019 – after three quarters of a year of intensive construction work.
